I loaded a program that did not load correctly. I can not delete it as that is the part that did not load. I tried updating the installer. I remember that at one time we could restore back to a certain date. How can I do this. Do not want to have to format and start all over again. All help will be wonderful. have you tried to restore while in safe mode? when booting up, tap f8 repeatedly, you will get a menu that has 'safe mode', 'safe mode with networking', etc. Arrow down to safe mode > enter > let it boot > you will be asked if you really want to boot into safe mode > yes > start > accessories > system tools > restore points > restore to an earlier date.
